    This research is concerned with the application and comparison of mathematical models for predicting deaths due to fire accident in Taraba State. The reason for this research is because it was observed that whenever fire accident occurs, it claims lives and properties. Data were collected for the period of ten (10) years from 2005 to 2014 from Fire Service Board Jalingo. Taraba State, Nigeria. Various models were applied, such as Poisson distribution, Exponential distribution and Negative Binomial distribution. The aim of the application of these models was to determine the best model for predicting deaths due to fire accident. It was observed that the Poisson distribution result summed to approximately 0.6 with 0.4 deviation from the exact probability of 1.The Exponential distribution summed to approximately 0.9, with 0.1 deviation from the exact probability 1. The Negative Binomial distribution summed to approximately 0.8 with 0.2 deviation from the exact probability 1. The results showed that all the models are appropriate for modeling death due to fire accident. However, exponential distribution seems to be the best model in comparison with Poisson and Negative Binomial distributions in this work.

    The fields of OS are attracting most of the researchers. The researchers are working on the devices in which OS are used and try to improve the efficiency of such devices. The television sets using technique of quantum dot give the best visibility. The ink-jet printers using OS give better printing quality in comparison to conventional inorganic semiconductor printer. In this way OS plays an important and vital role in current scenario of electronic devices. In present paper an important facts of OS are discussed so that a person, who want to work in this field can understand about it in better way.

    This article is part of applied research; it aims to implement the Six Sigma methods. The main objective of Six Sigma is to increase profitability the company by reducing waste. It is also a statistical measure of the performance of the process to determine with great precision the quality of the products or services. The power of Six Sigma is the application of tools statistics in the context of a structured methodology and easy to implement. These tools are most commonly used in an operational environment of production.     Recycling of electronic circuits in general and Printed Circuit Boards, in particular, are very important for the protection of environment. It is also a good source of rare and costly metals in trace amount and proper recycling of PCBs can help recover these elements with minimum environment cost. Several recycle technologies were reviewed in this paper. From the review, it is observed that there are three main stages of PCBs recycling mainly pre-treatment, physical separation and chemical separation. In pre-treatment stage, crude separation is made and toxic parts as well as parts that can be disassembled are removed. After this process, the physical separation process starts where metallic and non metallic materials are separated after proper size reduction by appropriate technologies. Metallic and Nonmetallic materials are sent for further management. Most of the time chemical separation is used to recover materials. Many scientists are also working to get metallic and non metallic parts separately and developing use of non magnetic materials as sheet so that environment can be effectively protected.

    Intriguing relationship between Galactic Cosmic Ray (GCR) and Cloud Cover (CC) puts a challenge in understanding climate variability and global warming. Correlation obtained between Galactic Cosmic Ray and Cloud Cover is explained by ionization of air molecules due to cosmic rays. This atmospheric ionization affects cloud nucleation and hence changes distribution of cloudiness. On the other hand, clumping of aerosols resulting from ionization is yet to prove. Uncertainty in cloud measurements is another barrier for proving any specific relationship between Galactic Cosmic Ray and Cloud Cover.

    This paper is made for the development of a dc motor based Wind Turbine Emulator (WTE) and to show its performance verification through simulation. Here the torque signal represents the actual wind turbine with environmental effect to generate the DC motor shaft. Present study incorporates mainly the turbine power control strategy, including stochastic effect and deterministic load components with the shaft dynamics. Here WTE with Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) is studied to verify its effectiveness in the presence of various wind characteristics. The envisaged wind system is based on a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG), which is directly connected to the wind turbine shaft, while rectifier and chopper is used to provide the DC output load. Here resistive load is basically the DC load with values in wide range. The experimental investigations are provided in partial load regime and the optimum power is performed through power loop either by controlling the electrical power or by controlling the electromechanical power.

    Mobile electronic commerce (or M-commerce) describes online sales transactions that use wireless electronic devices such as handheld computers, mobile phones and laptops. These mobile devices communicate with computer networks and by using these devices online purchasing can be done. Submission

Before submitting manuscript following points should be kept in mind

  • The manuscript should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through our online submit manuscript system. If manuscript submitting person is not the author of that particular manuscript, it will not be accepted.
  • Don’t write Prof./Dr./Mr./Mrs. in the names of the author.
  • Don’t write the word ABSTRACT in the abstract column.
  • At least four well-qualified reviewers name along with their current e-mail addresses must be provided during the submission process.

The manuscript, which is submitted in the given prescribed format, will be accepted for the peer review process.  For it, MS-Word template should be downloaded from the system. If the submission is failed due to some technical issue, the author can submit the manuscript to editor@inscribepublications.com.

Copyright

The submitted manuscript for review process in one of IP's journals should not have been previously published in any of the forms either electronically or in print. Also, it must not be currently under consideration elsewhere. So a copyright form duly signed by one of the authors should be submitted during the online submission or during the publication. If the review process of Inscribe Publications takes much longer time and the author wishes to end the review process, he/she should get in contact with the Editorial Assistant of the journal, so that both sides (author and publisher) come to an agreement suitable for their publication and review process.

Once the manuscript is accepted for publication, INSCRIBE will issue an invoice in the Submit Manuscript or it will send to your e-mail id, also a link for payment will be shown here or it will be sent to your e-mail address. For final publication, the corresponding author must be arranged payments of the amount stated at this time.

Article Processing Charges

Journal of Scientific Approach is an Open Access journal accessible free of cost on the Internet all around the globe. At Inscribe Publications (IP), we guarantee that neither an individual reader nor any university library has to buy a subscription or pay fees to access articles in the electronic version of the journal. In this way, there is no revenue at IP from the sale of subscriptions to the electronic version of the journal and from viewing the article fees. Since the online publication process needs some financial support to setup and maintenance of the publication infrastructure, routine operation of the journal, processing of manuscripts through peer-reviews, editing, publishing, maintaining the scholarly record, and archiving and for covering all these costs, the journal fully depends on Article Processing Charges and this charge is collected by the journal from the author side as a Publication Fees. We take a nominal and affordable fee i.e., US $ 50  for online publication from the author, there is no any hidden charge of the journal. This fee helps in reaching the journal to every writer and reader.

We do not take any Manuscript Submission Charges or Submission Fees. The fee is due at the time of publication of the manuscript. Also, we do not say to pay per page, for color figures (only in the electronic version), for per table or for any other items for which other publishers are known to charge. When the manuscript has accepted a link for payment will be shown in your login account or it will be sent to your e-mail address.

We never compromise on our quality work so we rejected some articles from the beginning of our issues.

 

Refund Policy

Once an article has been accepted for publication, any Article Processing Charges on the article become due. The submitting author accepts responsibility for the Article Processing Charges, and Inscribe Publications will not issue refunds of any kind except those payments made by mistake or in excess of the amount required.
